At this time there is not a Pastor's Message to post but we expect to have one soon. Since our official return to Paradise Sunday, June 30, 2019, 234 days since the Camp Fire, there continue to be significant change happening here at St. Thomas More. Bishop Soto has made two key appointments at our church - a new Priest Supervisor and a Parish Steward.
Rev. Martin J. Ramat, previously Pastor of St. Philomene Parish, Sacramento, has been appointed Priest Supervisor of St. Thomas More and Pastor of Our Divine Savior in Chico. Father Ramat celebrated his first Mass recently at St. Thomas More Sunday, July 7th. It was wonderful. We are so happy to have Father here.
Our own Greg Kidder has been appointed Parish Steward of St. Thomas More. The Parish Steward is entrusted to participate in the pastoral care of the parish in collaboration with the Supervising Priest. Greg will continue to do a great job!
As priest, Fr. Ramat will supervise and provide for the sacramental life of the parish personally or through others.
